Dr. A. M. Valori B.Sc., M.B., F.R.C.S.Ed.
Dr Valori has pursued a career in General Practice for over twenty-five years. Having trained at St Andrews and Manchester Universities, he gained Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1981. Initially, he pursued an Orthopaedic career from which grew the enduring interest in anatomical factors in pain management and muscle dynamics, which has been his active research focus ever since. Dr Valori has treated patients with Migraine in Harley Street, at the London Independent Hospital and at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, where he has run the Migraine Clinic in the Department of Neurology for twenty years, for the last ten as Trust Practitioner.
He has presented at National and International conferences on headache. He is a regular contributor to the Oxford Annual Symposium on Headache. He is a Council Member of the British Association of the Study of Headache (BASH). He is a member of the International Headache Society, a member of the Cervicogenic Headache International Study Group, and a member of the British Institute of Musculo-Skeletal Medicine.
